Well you tried.
I love owls very much but have seen so few in my lifetime.

Oh! this is was the very first one
that I have seen in the wild.
If only I could have been more ready
and I could have stopped the car straight away.

With all the scrambling you describe, I'd say you did pretty good!

oh well... things like that happen to me all the time (but have never seen a barn owl in the wild - i'm slightly envious)
well done for catching it at all!

it was so heavenly, as for a moment
it flew beside me as I drove along,
t was a small wonder that I didn't have an accident.
hope you will get to see one too.

Kazilar IS SPAM!!!!!!!!!! Delete, don't click!!! I made that mistake. It's one of those that tries to load phony dis-infection programs.

Best wishes

What a sense of flight you have captured here! Very nice--don't tell yourself this is second rate. There is more to a photo than what, a sharp focus. Plus, look at the great story you have to go with it, LOL.

I see birds are the order of the day for you lately. I like it! These days we can hear the birdies singing in the morning, rain or shine.

welcome! I thank you for reassurance
that a story can do a poor shot justest.
