I can indeed see the tree monster - a slim, sticky thing running along the branch out of the picture! Are you one of these people who see faces in the embers of a fire by any chance?

YES I DID, as a child sitting in front of a coal fire, toasting bread with a brass toasting fork, winters evenings at grannies, frost and ice hanging from sheds and gutters
can still smell it now, those were the days
